
Proposed Projects
The Marathon Local Planning Committee (LPC) will be seeking proposals for potential projects to be included in the Marathon Strategic Investment Plan (SIP).*
The submission of project proposals is open to the public, and projects will be selected based on the evaluation criteria defined within the Open Call for Project Proposals.
*If your project was included in the Village’s NY Forward application, you must resubmit your project through this Open Call to be considered for NY Forward funding.

Eligible applicants are those sponsored by a public, non-profit or private entity with legal authority to undertake the project

Public Improvement Projects
New Development/Rehabilitation of Downtown Buildings
Façade enhancements or small scale building renovations
Branding and Marketing for downtown

NYF Projects must:
Be located within the NY Forward Boundary
Be able to break ground within two years of receiving funding
Have financing largely in place
Must have site control or be in the process of obtaining site control

The consultant team will be available to discuss questions potential project sponsors may have. Drop-in office hours will be held in the Village once the Open Call for Projects is released. Contact information will also be included in the Open Call form.

This webinar will provide an introduction to decarbonization and the reduction of carbon emissions by improving the design and construction of buildings and how they use energy. Key topics include an overview of decarbonization and an introduction to different types of decarbonization strategies that can be incorporated into DRI/NYF building projects.
